Salary : 10-12plaExperience : Minimum 2 yearsJob Description : We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL (Structured Query Language), with a proven ability to optimize queries and enhance database performance. Knowledge of report development tools, particularly Birt, and experience with MySQL databases will be advantageous.Skills : Strong Understanding of SQL : Proficiency in SQL and its various clauses, including SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, and more, for querying and manipulating data.Query Optimization : Expertise in optimizing SQL queries and database performance through techniques such as indexing, query analysis, EXPLAIN statements, and understanding execution plans.Indexing Knowledge : Familiarity with various types of indexes (e.g., B-tree, hash, full-text) and the ability to apply them appropriately to enhance query execution speed.Report Development : Capable of creating views and procedures for generating reports.Birt and MySQL : Knowledge of the report development tool Birt and experience with MySQL databases will be advantageous.Responsibilities : - Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and other developers to deliver reports within specified timelines.- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal guidance.- Adhere strictly to query writing standards and internal practices to maintain data integrity.- Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and create queries that provide the necessary data to meet business needs.Qualifications : - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SQL Database Developer or similar role.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.If you are a SQL Database Developer with a passion for optimizing database performance and delivering accurate reports, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
