As a Technical Manager (QA) – Application Delivery & Networking domain, we look towards you as a Technical Manager with very good understanding Network Solution Architectures, Carrier Grade Networks, Firewall solutions & Distributed Application Architecture (SaaS). Your role would be to build & deliver overall QA Test (Automation/Manual) Frameworks & Execution plan.
As part of Application Delivery & Network Security team, You will be responsible for ensuring high quality of next generation products and solutions.
Develop and drive effective test strategy and clear concise test plan, execute feature & system level test cases. Track software defect and validate the resolution through the entire project release.
1. Install, configure and maintain the hardware and software test environment
2. Apply specialized expertise in understanding issues, research and provide solutions
3. Work with engineering and support teams on improving product quality, and recreation of customer reported issues
4. Share responsibility for improving testing methodology, processes, strategies and techniques; incorporate these improvements into the overall testing process
5. Ability to lead a team of junior engineers, mentor them and coordinate with dev teams. Communicate Test strategy, test process, Test Results to Management and cross functional teams

• Good understanding and experience of various Test Frameworks & architectures.
• Experience in testing Data Center Firewall with an integrated Layer 4 firewalls
• Good understanding and experience of various Test Frameworks & architectures.
• Experience in testing Data Center Firewall with an integrated Layer 4 firewalls
• Experience in Secure Web Gateway using SSL
• Hand-on experience in configuring IPsec VPN tunnels.
• Well versed with security and policy enforcement functions, Access control lists (ACLs) & DDoS Protection
• Hand-on experience with Authentication servers like: LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS, OCSP.
• Knowledge of Layer 4/Layer 7 server load balancing
• Well versed with Routing protocols – static routes, IS-IS (v4/v6), RIPv2/ng, OSPF v2/v3, BGP4+
• Experience on working with hypervisor; for example, VMware, ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and KVM.
• Experience in software test planning, documentation and process improvement
• Hands-on experience with Traffic Generators like IXIA.
• Experience of Stress, Performance, System testing, Manual testing and Automation testing.
• Exposure to large scale distributed system testing
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Good familiarity with Linux (like) operating system.
• Proven experience in improving methods and metrics.
• Good knowledge on Defect Tracking & Management Tools
