Job description
Quality Engineer for Aerospace & Defense project
- Conducting product evaluation, inspection and ensuring readiness during customer inspections
- Process verification during product builds
- Analyzing the defects observed during internal rejections
- Ensuring readiness of all documentation for customer inspections
- Coordinating with CFT team to execute the plan as per customer requirements
- Keeping record of observations / finding,
- Driving 8D / CAPA along with CFT
- Conducting periodic reviews with internal teams
- Keep track of all products cleared from inspection/ shipped to customers
- Monitor and track all ECNs
- Should have a thorough knowledge on PCBA Manufacturing processes
- Should have a good understanding about special processes
- Should have hands on experience with problem solving tools and methodologies (8D / CAPA)
- EMS industry background would be added advantage
- Knowledge of AS9100 requirements / AS9102 requirements
- Experience of handling Aerospace and Defense projects
- Thorough knowledge about IPC-A-610 class 3 products
- Good understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools
