Job description

Ola Electric is hiring Edge AI experts who would be responsible for building Edge AI Computer Vision applications for its Autonomous Team.

Key Skills/Qualification:

• Phd/Masters in Computer Science or related disciplines
• 10+ years of relevant experience in running AI applications on edge devices
• Strong experience in Developing and optimizing transformer-based architectures for edge applications
• Strong experience in Object Detection, Object Tracking, Depth Estimation, Camera calibration, Semantic and panoptic segmentation
• Experience in transformer-based architecture for large language models and Computer Vision
• Good understanding of Quantization concepts and Quantization-aware training, sparsity and pruning techniques
• Strong track record of successfully building and Managing Edge AI team
• Strong software and systems engineering skills
• Proven track record in managing high performance teams
• Good knowledge of algorithm development

Desired Skills:

● Publication record in Machine Learning / Deep Learning / Computer Vision

● Working knowledge of C/C++ would be a major plus

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a team of bright Research Engineers and Software Engineers with ability to keep and pioneer research and algorithm development on Edge AI platforms
• Collaborate with and influence leadership to drive data-driven decisions and strategies
• Develop partnerships with engineering and product teams to deliver cross-functional requirements
• Work and collaborate extensively with Edge AI platform providers such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Renesas, Cerebras
• Communicate with all levels of leadership including executives
• Stay update with latest technological and research developments in Edge AI optimization, AI model development innovations
• Should have strong bias for action and curiosity to learn
