Job Overview
Role: Sr. D&T Analyst - Supply Chain
Location: Mumbai
The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of Sr. D&T Analyst - Enterprise Integration. This Techno-functional role will report into D&T Manager - Supply Chain (EDI Analysts) in India and functionally play the role of EDI Lead in International Supply Chain Product team. It is an Individual contributor position.

. The candidate will partner with the key business contacts to understand business issues, identify opportunities and take initiative to implement solutions
. Partner with Product Owners & Delivery Leads to estimate all upcoming EDI work, check & remove roadblocks or technical challenges
. Lead Integration solutioning and delivery on large scale / transformation initiatives or projects
. Lead business continuance and small enhancements to drive business growth
. Analysis of user requirements plan and complete approved projects (using project management principles) in partnership with business users (technical, IT cost and development/testing schedule responsibility).
. Engage cross-functional teams as needed to ensure effective implementation of solutions
. Accountable to consult & participate in execution of complex EDI integrations
. The individual should have strong knowledge of multiple EDI standards, flat files, XML, IDoc & SAP integration related to O2C, P2P, inventory management processes
. Accountable for process improvement, best practice implementation & documentation

Role Responsibilities

55 % of Time

- As EDI Lead, work with Product Owners & Delivery Leads on solutioning, estimation, challenges etc.
- Lead Integration solutioning and delivery on large scale / transformation initiatives or projects
- Consult & participate in execution of complex business integration requirements
- Lead end to end integration solutioning, big picture thought process
- Review integration solutions before go-live
- Work on innovation and automation to reduce routine work
- Lead initiatives at D&T India or across Solutions Delivery org.
30 % of Time

- Write mapping specifications & guide to build maps
- Monitor SM37 / Tidal alerts for job failures in International systems
- Subject matter expert to solve critical issues & document the same
- Setup and maintain support rotation, related processes
15 % of Time

- Guide team by providing valuable inputs & also by making them understand the need of change
- Mentor / onboard new team members
- Work with other teams to improve service provided to themy

Must - have technical skills and experience
. Ability to quickly understand big picture of integration requirements, brainstorm and provide suitable solutions, perform effort estimation
. Can analyse, document and develop current or future business process. This should include identifying gaps, working with cross-functional teams to blueprint solution, prepare Integration plan, preparing mapping specifications for developers and documenting a unit / system / regression test plan
. In depth understanding of multiple major EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12, TRADACOMS), flat files, XML messages and their use for a CPG manufacturer
. In depth knowledge of order to cash, procurement to pay, inventory management business processes for a CPG manufacturer
. Functional knowledge of EDI integration with SAP modules SD, MM, FI, IM / WM
. Working knowledge of at least one major value-added network (like GXS, Sterling etc.) and one other mess age exchange protocol (AS2, SFTP etc.)
. Capable of building a work plan for their own project or as part of a larger cross functional project

Good to have skills
. SAP ABAP programming knowledge related to IDoc and/or functional modules enhancement
. Understands fundamentals of project management such as cost/benefit analysis, estimating and scope creep
. Programming / map development experience on an EDI translator (webMethods or similar) that demonstrates candidate can work either as analyst or developer
