POSITION IDENTIFICATION Job Title: Job Grade: Department: Job Purpose: Restaurant Hostess 2 Food & Beverage No of staff supervised directly: 10 No of staff supervised indirectly: To assist in administering the daily operations of the restaurant by motivating the team, engaging in clerical duties and to ensure guest satisfaction and financial objectives are achieved.

- KEY RESULT AREAS Restaurant Hostess
- To ensure all F&B service standard operating procedures as well as sequence of services are strictly followed as per booklet and update them whenever required.
- To initiate and record F&B daily briefing.
- Liaise with other clerical staff and department heads to ensure information is passed on in a timely and accurate manner.
- To train staff on service issues. Produce monthly training reports accordingly.
- To be fully aware of the F&B offers and activities.
- To be aware of LHW as well as company up-selling techniques. To ensure that staff adhere and make use of them in every sequence of service.
- To monitor and ensure that corporate as well as HACCP standards are in place, followed and constantly look for improvement in this matter. Be part of the HACCP team
- To initiate the operating equipment stocks take every two months, using the appropriate format. Maintain glassware, chinaware, stainless steel items and others operating equipment stock at par levels. Liaise with chief steward to produce monthly breakage report.
- To monitor and check that daily, weekly and yearly cleaning schedule are followed.
- To make sure that all daily opening and closing check lists are being used effectively.
