Job description
The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:
- Troubleshoot and support issues related to performance, security, and capabilities of Azure-based solutions
- Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to automate, orchestrate, and implement infrastructure as code through Terraform scripting
- Provides operational maintenance and monitoring of Azure-based IaaS and PaaS solutions
- Integrate Azure Cloud-based solutions with other Clouds or on-premises workloads
- Accountable for monitoring, auditing, and reporting on Azure service usage, escalating issues, and providing reporting for leadership review
- Define KPIs, measure progress, promote levers and drive improvements
- Design and implement technical operations architecture for monitoring and configuration management - Support the Design and implement security operations architecture
- Design and implement Backup, Security and Disaster Recovery strategies
- Partners with internal teams to architect and design efficient Cloud solutions that meet business requirements
- Works with security team to implement and maintain hardened security solutions
The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies and service catalogue including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SQL as a Service and other Microsoft PaaS technologies.
- 7+ years of Azure Cloud platform experience and experiencing with major infrastructure migration initiatives is preferred
- Experience with create and update Azure resources through Terraform scripting
- 3+ years' Experience with Azure PaaS solutions like APIM, Integration Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure AD, …etc.
- Experience with financial governance of cloud resources. Optimization of workloads and costs across the environment.
- Experience with CICD pipelines for Azure based solutions deployments
- Strong familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders
- Familiarity Working with agile development teams, methodologies, and toolsets.
- Bachelor's degree required in IT or a related field
