Job description

Department: Learning & DevelopmentPosition Title: F& B TrainerPurpose: Under the general guidance of the L& D Manager or his delegate, andwithin the limits of company policies, procedures, oversees, directsand provides training for all employees and supervisors in thecompany.Duties and responsibilities:1. Analyzes training needs and prioritizes such needs for TrainingManager to review.2. Assists in the development of the annual training plan and providesadvice to departmental trainers in their preparation of departmentaltraining plans.3. Conducts routine training eg: Grooming and Appearance, GuestService, and other Food and Beverage related technical training.4. Observes standards in F& B operations. Coaches and guideemployees in the areas for improvement based on observation.5. Collects and submits F& B Training Plans (SOP). Conducts trainingaccording to schedule. Monitors and evaluates training progress ofall F& B new hires.6. Assists in the preparation of monthly training reports.7. Assists in the monthly and annual training audits.8. Assist other departments to organize their training, by providingwhen possible, training room space, training equipment andproviding training advice.9. Assists the Training Manager in maintaining the Policies andProcedures of the Company.10. Reviews training policies and procedures and recommendsimprovements to the training manager.11. Assists in the development and implementation of corporateprogrammes.12. Establishes and maintains effective staff relations.13. Ensures the cleanliness and efficiency of all training equipment androoms and makes recommendation for improvement / change asnecessary, prepared for all training.14. Maintains all administration as directed by the L& D Manager15. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.Skillset Required: Excellent communication skills A degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management is a must. Eye for Detail. Interface with other departments (teamwork ) Positive attitude Minimum 2 years work experience as Supervisor/Executive in Food & Beverage. Good operational, administrative, and interpersonal skills are a must, and banquetingexperience will be an added advantage.
