Job Title: Video Editor
The Brand Brew is a creative agency that specializes in content creation, social media management, branding and design, and performance marketing. We're seeking a dynamic and energetic Video Editor to join our team and create amazing content for social media. The ideal candidate has
(a) A strong command over video edits that engage audiences on social platforms,
(b) The ability to create motion graphic reels that showcase our design capabilities,
(c) A creative mindset to ideate content for a diverse set of client brands
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for creating high quality edits and creative content for a wide variety of brands.
- Must utilise an array of editing techniques to create scroll-worthy content for social platforms.
- Work closely with the design team to execute creative briefs in line with the client requirements.
- Be proficient in motion graphics to create logo animations, transitions and high impact video work.
- Must have a strong understanding of advertising and social media, and proactively campaign for new and innovative ideas.
- Work on pitches to showcase the quality of work the agency has to offer.
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing
- Establish a clear understanding of client's storyline and purpose of video creation
- Edit videos to include preselected interviews, music, sound clips, and other important aspects as mentioned by the client
- Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation of finalised videos according to the client's specifications
Job Qualifications
- Ability to multitask and work towards several milestones simultaneously
- Creative experience of 2 to 3 years in video editing
- Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of client visions
- Ability to closely work with the creative team and supply clients with top-notch finalised products
- Prior work experience with an agency is a must
- Strong command over technical softwares: Adobe Premier Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects (3D software like Blender are also preferred)
