Job Title: Account Manager

What are you responsible for

1. Investment Accounting

- Record and reconcile investment transactions, expenses and income.

- Maintain accurate investment ledgers and financial records.

- Calculate investment performance metrics and returns.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

2. Financial Reporting

- Prepare and review investment financial statements and reports.

- Prepare quarterly and annual reports using investment softwares.

3. Portfolio Management

- Monitor the performance of various asset classes and investments.

- Perform investment valuations and assist in determining fair market value.

- Analyze investment data to provide insights for better decision-making.

4. Reconciliation and Audit Support

- Reconcile investment accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Assist in the coordination of financial audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

5. Tax Compliance

- Assist in tax planning and compliance for investment activities.

- Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting.

6. Risk Management

- Identify and assess investment-related risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.

- Maintain compliance with the family office's risk management policies.

What are we looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in (investment) accounting.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and Tally.

- Familiarity with investment performance metrics and calculations.

- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Professional certifications such as CA or CFA are a plus.
