Roles and Responsibilities

Required Skill Set & Experience:

Technical skills

At least 3 5 years of excellent knowledge on Informatica PowerCenter platform as a whole.

Advanced knowledge of ETL including the ability to read and write efficient robust code follow or implement best practices and coding standards and creation

Strong working experience in program complex ETL mappings

Strong working experience on sources like XML JSON Flat files and databases and should be able to troubleshoot issues related to XML/Json data loading.

Should have good functional understanding of transformations likeAggregator Normalizer Transaction Control Sequence Generator and their respective properties.

Strong working experience on Performance tuning of mappings and workflows

Experienced in core XML technologies XML XML Schema XPath XQuery expressions

Confident in taking up adhoc API design & developments with limited technical resources sometimes open sources to integrate

Proficient in reviewing API guides to draw highlevel designing and quick testing ability through open sources

Strong in trouble shooting both ETL and API connectivity and transactions proactively to report and resolve in no time

Strong in SQL queries. Ability to write complex SQL query and performance tuning for the same and Ability to fine tune complex stored procedure.

Good understanding of process notation and execution proprietary languages to apply various integration design patterns

Data modeling diverse schema midhigh knowledge should be useful to pickup other ETL tools ondemand

Understands Unix commands and ability to write and understand Shell Scripting

Have worked on scheduling of ETL Jobs.

Role based skills

Bachelor s Degree is required with preference to technical disciplines such as Computer Science and Information Systems as well as business disciplines such as Finance and Economic

Hands on experience with SQL

Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities to solve adhoc nonroutine problems in a timely and insightful manner should be able to solve the problems independently.

Soft skills

Good communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Strong problemsolving and analytical skills

Ability to work in Agile environment understand the requirements clearly collaborate with other team members effectively and develop and deliver the assigned modules as per agreed timelines

Good client facing skills

Ability to learn new technologies in short span of time and implement in projects
