About the role

As a coworking space we have grown over 15 times over the last 5 years. We are aggressively expanding and have constant on going interior projects.

We are looking for an Interior Design Assistant to join our team and help manage our organization's Interior Design needs.

You will be working with our Director and our Head of Design / Architect to understand the needs of our project and ensure we achieve our design goals on time.

Know how of Auto CAD is must to enable ease of drafting drawings with speed.

Basic knowledge of interior materials relating to fabrics, gypsum, wood, metal, fabrication, lightings, etc is required.

Responsibilities

• Research fabrics, floor and wall covering, antiques and accessories
• Prepare presentation boards
• Corresponded with contractors, vendors, etc.
• Generate Purchase Orders
• Follow up on orders and supervise installations
• Researching and identifying prospective suppliers
• Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria
• Prepare proposals, request quotes, make comparisons and negotiate purchase terms and conditions and pricing
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
• Effectively maintain and organiz resource library, increasing productivity
• Liaision with vendors, participated in client/designer meetings
• Drafting floor plans and elevations
• Coordinate the ordering and tracking of furniture pieces.

Requirement & Skills

• Basics of interior designing
• Basic understanding of how interior projects work
• Drafting drawinigs on AutoCAD
• Basic understanding of interior materials and fabrics
• Project Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bill and measurement calculation
