Role: Technical Lead / Frontend development Lead Experience criteria: 10+ years of relevant experience Position Summary: As businesses prepare for a digital-first, hybrid, and experience-driven future of work, the significance of digital platforms and effective content management becomes critical. Adobe is looking to employ a passionate, enthusiastic, and consulting focused candidate into the India professional services team. As a Technical Lead, you will develop and implement customer web platforms using front end technologies. This involves defining scope, timelines, technical solutions and leading the end to end delivery. You will drive customer communication, engage customers, facilitate development, ensure adoption and adherence to best practices and mentor team of developers. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, collaborative, and fosters inclusivity, authenticity, and trust across teams. Responsibilities u2022 Participate in Discovery sessions to identify business priorities and expectations of authoring experience in CMS. u2022 Lead workshops between creative, content teams, and development teams in relation to template and component identification and requirements, and governance strategy between development and authoring tasks. u2022 Collaborate and work closely with customer and manage expectations, ensure clear communication, define scope, agree on timelines and manage client dependencies. u2022 Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. u2022 Lead story/task grooming sessions and evaluate the dependencies and prerequisites for the tasks. u2022 Lead greening sessions and ability to solution and estimate efforts. u2022 Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code. u2022 Review PRs and manage quality of development, coach and mentor team on development skills and ensure adherence to best practices. u2022 Support client content team on platform usage, guidance and support. u2022 Manage feature/product demos to customer. u2022 Lead retrospective workshop at conclusion of project capture and up-level actionable recommendations. u2022 Collaborate with Sales on GTM service offerings and pre-sales inquiries. u2022 Coordinate customer feedback with product teams u2022 Research trends for design & front-end technologies to support improving design/front end workflows. Skillset requirement: Soft skills: u2022 Strong problem-solving skills. u2022 Experience working in a globally dispersed scrum team. u2022 Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies. u2022 Collaboration and engagement skills. u2022 Experience working with Communications and/or Marketing teams and/or Design Agencies. u2022 Demonstrated adaptability, goal orientated and innovative individual. u2022 Strategic problem solver and can relate the day-to-day details with broader business objectives. u2022 Experience in leading a project team. u2022 Experience in working directly with customer. Technical Skills: u2022 Experience with any known CMS with functional knowledge of template editor and content author roles. u2022 Expertise in responsive design and mobile application design. u2022 Expertise in front-end development, especially JAM stack u2022 In depth knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 (Less, Sass is a plus), knowledge of BEM methodology is preferred. u2022 Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. u2022 Detailed knowledge of JavaScript (ES6 is a plus). u2022 Experience with Atomic design paradigm is a plus. u2022 Expertise in Design systems, Style guides, Pattern libraries u2022 Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs. u2022 Familiarity with Micro Front End concepts and Headless Implementation would be a plus. u2022 Understanding of Web Accessibility WCAG guidelines. u2022 Understanding of content authoring and ensuring usability and intuitiveness for a content author while using a CMS. u2022 Understanding of information architecture and creating appropriate content structuring u2022 Familiarity in Adobe XD, or other design tools such as Sketch or Figma. u2022 Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools. u2022 Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git. u2022 Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. u2022 Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. u2022 A knack for benchmarking and optimization. u2022 Deep understanding of core web vitals, web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
