Job description

To be able to become the biggest community of startup enthusiasts, Metal social media channels would need to evolve as though leader / opinion creator which folks look upto. This would need to be done not only through self created / posted content but also by engaging the community to create and share content on our social media channels to help others community members understand the space better. 

We want to evolve as the ultimate destination for startup conversation on all social media. Quality content generated by Users would play a key role in achieving this. 

Key deliverables for SME:- 

1. Position Metal as thought leaders across all Social Media channels by creating content which generates buzz in the startup community. 
2. Amplify the buzz by getting community members to involve and create content for Metal. 
3. Designing and implementation of campaigns across channels to acquire, engage and retain users within Metal community on these channels. 
4. Scale community to different geographies as Metal goes global.

Key requirement for the role:-

1. Minimum 5-7 years experience. Should have handled social media / digital marketing teams of Startups. 
2. Strong personal presence on at least 2 social media (Twitter / LinkedIn / Youtube / Instagram / Reddit etc). Should be practically living on social media channels. Pseudonyms would also be fine.
3. Should have created engaging content in the past on social media channels. Eg - Threads or spaces on Twitter / Reels on Instagram / Vlog on YouTube etc
4. Past experience of managing social media account (Brand page and not ORM) of any startup
5. Should have a good understanding of the Startup ecosystem (in India to start with) and should have a good tracking of current trending topics in the startup world. Exposure into some form of community (startups / crypto etc) would be a plus. 
6. Willing to live, breath & eat startup social media all day every day! 
7. Experience of working with influencers would be a plus.
