Role Description:
The role of a Technical Support Engineer in Positka is pivotal in driving value for the firm. As a Technical Support Engineer specialized in Splunk, you will play a critical role in providing top-tier technical assistance and problem resolution to our clients utilizing Splunk solutions. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues related to Splunk deployments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Specifically:
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to customers using Splunk solutions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues reported by customers.
- Collaborate closely with customers, understanding their environments, and effectively communicating solutions and best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk product releases, features, and best practices
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Splunk knowledge base and documentation.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the team's technical expertise.

Experience, skills, education
- 2 to 5 years of technology experience in a systems engineer / support engineer role
- Proven capability in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), monitoring systems (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, Solarwinds, Zabbix, Datadog), virtualization, scripting and networking knowledge would be strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong academic track record is essential (minimum 75% across 10th, 12th, and college)

- Based in Chennai.
- Ability and willingness to travel will be essential.
