Roles and Responsibilities: -
The role would offer an opportunity to drive Card operations initiatives for PhonePe while working closely with the Card Network(s), industry's leading banks and other ecosystem participants.
- Managing relationships for Credit Card Issuance and other business-operations engagements.
- Managing operational tasks by gaining relevant context for driving conversations with cross-functional teams, including tech, product and business teams.
- Ensure timely reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage Card Issuance performance metrics and drive improvements in Card Issuance rates and TATs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, Biz-Fin, Accounting, Tech Team, Customer/Merchant Support, and others, to ensure operational efficiency and improve the overall user experience.
- Manage relationships with sponsor banks and Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including networks, to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Monitoring and reporting daily performance of the categories. Identifying areas of improvement and collaborating with internal/external teams to ensure enhancements are executed on time.
- Identifying issues & lead process streamlining as & when required. Set up SOPs for any business operational tasks and actualise them diligently.
- Assigns appropriate work and holds team members accountable for performance.
- Focus on driving automations.
Role Requirements:-
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in card issuance operations or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Card operations, including reconciliation, performance management, and relationship management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines and industry standards related to Card issuance.
- Experience working on MS Excel and SQL.
- Ability to evaluate, streamline and set up processes for scaling up business operations
- Manage, mentor, coach and bring best practices to early career employees' working rhythms.
- Be obsessed with user and merchant experience with a strong execution bias.
