Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the engineering function, processes, and initiatives across multiple projects, teams, and domains, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Define and execute comprehensive engineering strategies, methodologies, and best practices to uphold product quality, foster innovation, and facilitate scalability. Establish and enforce engineering standards, processes, and guidelines to maintain consistency, efficiency, and excellence across all engineering endeavors. Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, offering technical guidance, coaching, and support to empower individuals and drive collective success. Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to shape product roadmaps, elucidate requirements, and prioritize initiatives in alignment with business objectives. Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering domain, fostering a culture of experimentation and embracing emerging technologies and methodologies. Document and disseminate engineering processes, standards, and best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and ensuring organizational alignment. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in technical principles and concepts. Demonstrated track record in engineering management or leadership roles, showcasing expertise in leading and orchestrating multifaceted engineering initiatives. Profound knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices, coupled with hands-on experience in their application across diverse projects and environments. Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, and JIRA, facilitating efficient project management and delivery. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement. Skills: Engineering Leadership: Proficient in leading and overseeing engineering activities across projects and teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Process Improvement: Adept at driving innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration: Skilled in working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve engineering objectives and deliver high-quality solutions. Strategic Planning: Capable of defining and executing strategic engineering initiatives and roadmaps to drive organizational success. Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, further enhancing depth of knowledge and expertise in engineering principles and practices. Certification in engineering management or project management, validating specialized skills and competencies in leadership and project execution within the engineering domain.
