Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Planning and Accounts Analyst based in Mumbai. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical skills. The Financial Planning and Accounts Analyst will be responsible for working with management to develop and implement financial strategies, manage financial controls and reporting, and provide financial analysis to help drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of the annual budget and long-term financial plans.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities. Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate the company's performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Financial Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to support decision-making, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Accounting, or a related field. B.E / B.Tech/ B.E + MBA / CA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, financial software).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
