About the company:

Our clients a leading Indian Group with 5000 Indians working in their various group companies is seeking to hire Purchase Manager/ Procurement.

Role: Purchase Manager/ Procurement

Location: Lubumbashi- Congo

Salary: 2000-2500 USD+ Other benefits

Skills & requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, preferably in the construction/ real estate.
• Strong understanding of imports and the global construction materials market.Â

• Excellent negotiation skills and strong knowledge of International Purchase.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Role & responsibilities:

Connect with clients and companies.
Handle Imports and understand the import process thoroughly.
Good with planning and maintain records.

Must have done International Purchase. Â
Sources, Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for constructions material supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
Procures all necessary constructions material, needed for production or daily operation of the company, prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices.
Prepare, maintain and review purchasing records, produce management reports, track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, approve bills for payment,
Calculate the cost of orders, assign invoices to the appropriate accounts, and monitor in-house inventory transfer for project consumption.
Conduct research via the Internet, catalogues, trade publications, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers.
Meet prospective suppliers either face-to-face or over the phone to determine prices, discounts, terms, etc.
