Job description

• The IT Asset Analyst assists in implementing and overseeing the organizations IT asset management (ITAM) program
• This includes managing the lifecycle of all IT assets, from deployment to decommission, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, and optimizing the organizations IT investments
• The IT Asset Manager also plays a key role in identifying and resolving potential IT asset risks and ensuring that the organization has the right IT assets in the right place at the right time
• The NorAm IST Infrastructure Asset Analyst helps resolve any technical issues with the Asset Management system in order to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the Asset Database

Primary Duties Responsibilities

Assist with the Implementation and maintenance of the approved Asset management tool including integrations to existing tools with asset inventory information

Assist with ensuring that all related asset lifecycle processes are implemented to support an up-to date inventory for the defined IST Assets

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that IT assets are tracked effectively and efficiently

Assist with the management of the organizations IT asset inventory, including in-scope hardware, software, and cloud-based assets

Assist with the management of software licenses to ensure that the organization complies with all software licensing agreements

Conduct regular audits of IT assets to identify any potential compliance risks

Provide training and support to IT staff on ITAM best practices

Hard Skills

Proven experience in managing IT asset lifecycles, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.

Strong understanding of IT asset inventory management and reporting

Expertise in IT asset licensing and compliance

Preferred experience working with Ivanti CMDB / Neurons discovery tool

Soft Skills
