- Create design, code, and unit test modules/components.
- Develop software requirements from product requirements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the requirements (both explicit and implicit) of the system under development.
- Investigate software and system problems using a variety of techniques and provides innovative solutions.
- Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO.
- Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant work practices, as required by authorities for medical device product development
- Ensuring full compliance with Radiometers quality system.
- Demonstrate Danaher values and adopt DBS tools across team.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelors / Master’s in computer science / Information Technology or related field.
- Four-year-degree (BE/BTech) in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent.
- Good programming knowledge in VC++/C++ & Visual Basic 6.0
- Good knowledge of object oriented (OOPS) concepts
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in software development with a good hands-on VC++/C++ & Visual Basic 6.0 development skills.
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and complete projects.
- Passionate about the team, customers, quality, sharing knowledge and collaborating across teams.
- Excellent teaming skills to work with cross functional and in a multi-site software teams.
- Supportive of roles played by team members in a scrum team e.g. scrum master, proxy product owner and manager.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, in working with co-workers and stakeholders.
- Is self-aware.
- Is a team player.
- Has a strong work ethic.
- Experience working within a SCRUM/Agile environment.
- Self-driven and team oriented.
- Experience in Medical system is preferable.
