Job description
Role Objective
- Responsible for sales of Consumer Banking products like SA, fixed deposits, Home Loans and cross sell of third-party products like Insurance, Mutual Funds etc
- Target segment would be Resident and NRI customers in the HNI category and not mass market customers
- Responsible for client acquisition and deepening and ensure a smooth on-boarding experience of customers
- Identification and addition of new channels for growth of asset & liabilities business of the bank
- Provide market feedback on retail bank's products and processes viz those available in the market.
- Ensure best service standards to existing set of customers, engage with them and provide all support/services in consultation with operations team.
- Maintain the quality of the portfolio for the bank.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure buildup of liability balance sheet through NTB customer acquisition and deepen existing set of customers in the HNI category.
- Generate revenue through sales of third-party products viz. Life, General Insurance, Mutual Funds and also cross sell banking products viz. Housing Loan, Loan against deposits, Remittances, PIS accounts etc.
- Portfolio management to ensure quality and profitably.
- Work closely with the Branch Manager for all day-to-day activities of the branch but works independently for daily routine/repetitive decisions.
- Ensure a complete engagement with HNI customers on a regular basis and ensure that Doha Bank becomes their primary banker.
- Work in close coordination with HNI Banking team for innovative product launch as per customer requirement.
- Engage with assigned overseas locations for maximizing business and volumes
- Adhering to the KYC norms laid for the purpose of account opening and conduct by the RBI.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
- 5+ years of banking experience in building priority / preferred banking business for the bank in the HNI space
- Strong knowledge of NRI proposition is also required.
- Bachelor's / Master's in Business Administration / Business Economics
- Aggressive salesperson and a go-getter who could work under pressure and defined targets.
- Possess good servicing and relationship management skills.
- Needs to have a good knowledge of Liability products, TPP products viz. MF, Life, General Insurance etc.
- Candidate must be willing and capable of working as an individual contributor and building their own book. Possess reasonable HNI customer base or willing to acquire on their strength.
- Good interpersonal skills, communication skills both written and oral and a pleasing personality.
- Should be well versed in basic computer skills.
