The position
As a Compliance Associate at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for implementing the Global and IO (International Operations) Business Ethics Compliance plan, policies, and procedures. This includes managing and coordinating compliance activities, acting as an advisor on Business Ethics & Documentation, and working with the Sales team to address and resolve Business Ethics/Compliance issues. You will be reviewing all documents related to sales activities within specified timelines, maintaining an index of all documents related to sponsorships and events, and conducting periodic reviews and audits of all indexed items. Along with these tasks, you will also have additional responsibilities:
- Reviewing documentation relating to Continuous Medical Education (CME).
- Processing, tracking, and monitoring payments relating to activities.
- Utilizing internal tools for Activity Management, Contract Management, and Compliance Effectiveness.
- Being the Business Ethics & Compliance champion.
- Providing training on the automated system for HCP interactions.
Qualification - A bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable institute. A Master's in Law would be an added advantage.
- 3-4 years of previous experience in compliance, preferably in the healthcare/pharma industry or audit firms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to drive effective strategy execution with the highest level of integrity.

As a Compliance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring ethical business practices and compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards. You will work closely with various functions to provide advice on ethical and legal compliance issues and ensure that contracts and policies are in line with legal standards and procedures.
