Overview
As a Financial Analyst (Startup Consultant) at our organization, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to help startups achieve their business objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating forecasts, and developing financial models to guide strategic decision-making for our clients.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct financial analysis and modeling for startup clients
- Develop financial forecasts and scenario analyses to support decision-making
- Provide strategic financial guidance to startups on capital raising and investment opportunities
- Assist in the development of business plans and financial projections for startups
- Perform valuation analyses for startups considering M&A or fundraising
- Assess and advise on the financial viability of potential startup investments
- Evaluate and optimize startup financial operations and processes
- Produce financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders
- Conduct industry and market research to support financial analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth for startups
- Advise on financial best practices and compliance for startups
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss financial strategies
- Support the company's mission by contributing to the growth of our startup clients
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in startup financial analysis
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience as a financial analyst or consultant, preferably working with startups
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and forecasting
- Strong understanding of startup funding, VC, and fundraising processes
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software such as Excel, Tableau, or similar
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively
- Solid grasp of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Relevant certification such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in financial analysis
