Job Description
- Originate Rapeseed/Soybean/Oil-meals for PRO trading and Cash-Futures arbitrage business model.
- Implement marketing strategies and develop a through-put business model for respective oilseeds and oil-meals.
- Manage the origination and sales of oilseeds and oilmeals in the cash market and participate actively in location-based arbitrage in oilseeds and oil-meals.
- Supply & Demand Analysis – Keep abreast of latest trends in production, consumption, export and imports, including t weather developments and its impact on production, as well as impact on balance sheet.
- To keep a tab on market and track latest developments in trade that influence and can affect the company's business.
- Develop Trading book in Oil seeds & oil meals & good business relationships with the buyers and sellers.
- Observe the risks that the platform is taking on daily basis and gain understanding of the risk-reward for any particular trade, whether it is the market risk, counter party risk, quality risk, political risk etc.
- Ensure Contract performance/AR/AP with strong controls and follow ups.
- Tracking and reporting Market prices/trends/ competition activities and oilseeds and oil-meal spectrum.
- Ensuring LDCI's compliance with all applicable local laws related to origination and trading with zero deviation.
- Working withing LDCI's SOP's and adhare controls and procedures as advised by the company time to time.
- Continue learning about the basic trading concepts and contribute to developing the supply/demand forecasting continuously.
- Play key-role in upcoming projects of LDCI under this domain.
Experience Masters/ MBA
Additional Information
Trading experience in oil seeds, Oil meals or any other Agri commodities
Analytical Learning attitude
10-15 Yrs of expérience in agro trading/ marketing and strong commercial orientation
