About Our Client Our client is a part of a multi billion dollar group with major product portfolio of sheet metal products and plants/facilities across the country catering to all major Auto OEMs. Job Description As a Business Excellence lead, you will play a pivotal role in mapping out using scientific principle to evaluate current performance of each Manufacturing process (direct or indirect) of Press/Weld and to set the standards through following activities
Collaborate with Leadership of all plant facilities and collate data to share significant insights with top management
Access loss in Manufacturing activities across 24 standard losses. Developing the process through eliminating the non-value-added activities.
Manpower capacity planning for target engagement level and business changing demand by implementing concept to detect ideal time and optimise work distribution between 4M.
Evaluate OEE shop wise and to suggest improvement through 4M optimisation.
Come out with clear understanding of making every shop as a Profit Centre.
Evaluate and improve pricing structure through reducing the cost of production, optimise to maximise revenue and reducing the overheads by suggesting and implementing best industry practices and cutting-edge technologies
Collaborate closely with stake holders, including Operations managers, IT team, Finance to understand business needs and requirements
Develop IoT system with coordination with other stake holders for real time mapping of input vs output to make each shop as Profit Centre
The Successful Applicant
BE/ B tech in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering from reputed institute with MBA full time with a min exp of 10+ years with at least last 5+ years of professional experience in Business Excellence department in automotive component industry (sheet metal)
Experience of working in Press /Weld industry and have implemented real time monitoring and analysis system with integration of all high value processes through IoT
Strong communication & interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross- functional teams.
Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specification and setting the standards
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the improvement tools development cycle. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Proficient in using business analysis tools and techniques used in IE
