Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Medical Education. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive medical education programs that support the successful adoption and utilization of our medical devices. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of medical education strategies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Strategic MedEd Leadership:

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for medical education programs aligned with the company's overall objectives.
• Develop and implement comprehensive medical education strategy business wise to drive therapy adoption.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that medical education initiatives are integrated into the broader marketing and commercialization strategy.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances the company's image with thought leaders/key opinion leaders.
• Strategize and develop COE’s for therapy and product training. Discuss, draft and implement MOU’s with key accounts for structured medical education programs in collaboration with Stryker and key account.

2.Program development and management:

• Design, implement, and manage medical education programs, including workshops, webinars, symposia, and other educational events.
• Oversee the development of educational materials, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and are effective in conveying key product information.
• Develops methods to evaluate the effectiveness of courses and make recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary.
• Lead the team to manage the entire logistics and vendor management for MedEd programs.

3.KOL Engagement:

• Identify, build, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in relevant medical specialties.
• Collaborate with KOLs to develop and deliver educational content, fostering a strong network of advocates for the company's therapies and products.
• Collaborate with KOLs to gather insights, enhance product understanding, and drive thought leadership initiatives.
• Regularly participate in scientific exchange with KOLs/physicians/researchers and investigators in the field and during medical congresses

4. Cross functional collaboration:

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs,
  Compliance and Clinical Affairs teams to align medical education initiatives with  overall business objectives.
• Provide medical education support for sales teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to communicate the value proposition of our products and services.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of regulatory guidelines and ensure that medical education programs adhere to all applicable regulations.
• Ensure that all medical education programs adhere to relevant regulations, industry guidelines, and compliance standards.

6.Patient Services and Solutions:

• Develop patient support programs aligned with BU strategies. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams for service creation. Manage contracts and track KPIs related to patient services.

7.Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the medical education and event teams.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD), PharmD, or PhD in a relevant field will be preferred.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in medical education, or a related role within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Prior experience in marketing in med devices or pharma will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for medical devices.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful medical education programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Leadership experience with a track record of managing successful teams.
