Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse Buying Grid (plan of what needs to be bought before commencement of the roadshow).
- Grade and classify products for each store.
- Prepare Planogram along with the Visual Merchandizing team.
- Analyse top sellers and bottom sellers in stores.
- Maximize sales by holding optimal levels of inventory.
- Minimize returns from stores.
- Plan for discounts in stores along with Operations and Buying team.
- Plan for promotions according to stores.
- Plan and monitor the Open to Buy (OTB) for the next season.
- Prioritize OTB according to stores.
- Provide OTB to the Buying team.
- Design the weekly Fill rate.
- Analyse sell-throughs (analyse customer buying patterns and predict future trends).
- Provide recommendations to Planning and Operations team on promotion of products.
- Adhere to the discount budgets and help in maximizing sales & adhere to guidelines for providing discounts in accordance with the budget provided for MRP and RRP
- Participate in promotional events, road shows etc, Interact with Operations team and drive efficiencies through team collaboration.
- Build a strong, customer focused team.
- Organize training and development for the team.
- Ensure the performance of the team is assessed periodically and provide adequate feedback.
Essential Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Design from NIFT with 3 - 6 years of experience in Retail merchandise Planner for EBO Stores at Corporate Office.
- Excellent Communication skills, Analytical skills, Execution Focus, Financial Acumen, Problem Solving.
- Experience in fashion Retail / Branded Apparel industry experience.
- A Commercial understanding of the dynamics of Stores, sales analysis.
