Job Summary

The Warehouse Executive in Promea is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient and compliant storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials and packing materials. They will manage inventory, coordinate logistics, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and issuance of pharmaceutical raw/packing materials.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), in all warehouse activities.
  • Manage inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and implement appropriate inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and stockouts.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished products for storage and distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, batch numbers, expiry dates, and other relevant information.
  • Implement proper storage conditions and temperature controls to maintain product integrity and stability.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including storage areas, equipment, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with quality control and regulatory affairs teams to support product sampling, testing, and documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule shipments, ensure on-time delivery, and track shipment progress.
  • Implement and maintain effective security measures to safeguard warehouse inventory against theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, and turnaround time, and implement process improvements.
  • Identify and address any operational inefficiencies or process bottlenecks to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to warehouse management and distribution.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) related to pharmaceutical warehousing.
  • Familiarity with automated warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technologies.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to analyze warehouse-related data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
