Role Description
We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media marketing strategies and campaigns, managing social media accounts, engaging with clients, analyzing social media metrics, and creating content across various platforms. This is a hybrid role with some work from home flexibility.
The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who will play a critical role in strategising and creating original digital content across various social media platforms.
The role will require effective communication with clients to understand their needs and goals, and regularly provide reports and analytics to ensure that goals are met or exceeded.`
Responsibilities:
- Plan, conceptualize, and develop social media strategies for all brands based on client briefs and team guidance, informed by thorough research and analysis.
- Create compelling storylines and brand campaigns aligned with client guidelines and translate them into high-quality, engaging content.
- Compose, edit, and publish Social Media Posts with captions that adhere to the storyline and strategic direction.
- Generate, monitor, and report on social media insights, including traffic, engagement, shares, DMs, and conversion rates.
- Manage social media accounts, ensuring content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Liaise with the designers to ensure creatives and graphics are on time, and is as per the creative direction, mood boards, and brand strategy.Â
- Facilitate communication between clients and the company, addressing queries, obtaining reviews, and organizing chats and Q&A sessions.
- Develop special social campaigns for occasions and per client directives, executing and measuring their success.
- Propose, execute, and manage influencer and other collaborations relevant to brands, offering client recommendations and oversight.
Qualification Experience
- 3 - 6+ years of experience working as a social media strategist at an agency or platform(agency/DTC brand experience preferred)
- Excellent presenter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An understanding of how content is best consumed, cadenced, and optimized on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Youtube, Threads, Whatsapp
- An understanding of existing and emerging media, online communities, and industry trends.
- Experience in translating a diverse, and dynamic set of consumer and cultural research/data points, brand objectives and competing perspectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies.
