Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Executive to join our team at R S Patel & Co. As an Audit Executive, you will be responsible for conducting statutory audits and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This is a mid-level position requiring 2 to 6 years of experience in the field. The job is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and it offers full-time employment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CA
- 4 years above of experience in statutory audit.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
- Proficient in using audit software and MS Office.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct audits according to statutory audit guidelines and principles.
- Examine financial statements, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and assess financial and operational risks, and develop appropriate audit procedures to effectively address them.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of audits and resolution of issues.
- Provide guidance and support to junior auditors in their audit assignments.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to auditing and ensure compliance.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and address their queries and concerns.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and procedures.
