Job description
Product design and release experience
Ability to handle multiple projects
Excellent communication skills
Electrical product design, electrical systems, or wiring design experience
Proficiency in CAD/Teamcenter and/or schematic design software
Experience with vehicle features, MFAL codes, ordering complexity
Review and understand vehicle content assigned to a program per the Program Direction Offer (PDO)
Capable of identifying product content in vehicle CAD environment, building CAD buck environment, 3D sectioning.
Experience in WERS for searching part numbers, release levels and usage
Ability to attest to all engineering requirements met per Ford Corporate Requirements, Federal Requirements and Global Requirement.
Prototyping experience
Design wire harness and/or accessory vehicle interface connections
Interface with EESE engineers for systems engineering, wiring, fusing and other specifications
Develop core engineering documents - FMA, FMEA, interface diagrams, others
Develop and execute design verification plans (DVPs) and engineering deliverables
Release parts using WERS and provide final engineering sign-off documentation
Interface with suppliers, planning, program management, vehicle programs, VO, and other activities
