Educational Qualifications and Experience: B.E. 10 – 12 years
Working Experience on Automated Storage Systems & Conveying System for Warehouse Logistics
ASRS:
Unit Load - Crane System, Mother Baby Shuttle System,
Tote/Carton - Mini Load Systems, Carton Shuttle Systems
Pallet Conveying Systems:
Transfer & Accumulation Conveyors, Transfer Lifts, Turn table, Transfer Units.
Tote/Carton Conveying Systems:
Transfer & Accumulation Conveyors, Incline, Decline, Spiral, Transfer Lifts, Turn table, Transfer Units, Merge, Diverts,
Sorting Units
Electrical & Controls: Knowledge on types for applications of Drives, Sensors, Scanners, Scada, Flow Logic
Considerations, Power Considerations, data Communication considerations, PLC Level Interfacing, Middle Ware
Interfacing
Software & IT: Knowledge of ERP/SAP, WMS, eWM Integration, Interfacing Platforms
Storage Systems: FEM, EN, IS Standards, Racking Allowance, Tolerance Considerations, Safety Standards
Responsible for Requirement understanding, Calculating the Design Basis, Developing Concepts & Solutions,
Specifications for Costing
Vendor Development & Interactions for Specific Equipment Quotes - Developing the RFP, Application Note
Interacting with Internal Departments, Vendors & Customers
Bridge between all Opportunity Stake Holders - Sales, Electrical Controls, Software, Project Management, I&C,
Imports, Legal etc.,
Responsible to handle the Team size of 4 - 6
Other Responsibilities: Team Skilling, Templates Building, Standardizing the Specification of Equipment, Subsystems
Competencies:
Expertise in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Power point, Access)
