Job description

Purpose of the Job

The role of Area Manager is to ensure best in class customer experience in the circle and drive the Serve to Sell agenda by Service delivery (Installation) & Service assurance (Fault Repair) for BB, DTH and Surveillance (One Airtel). Effectively planning and implementing the training agenda, developing the capabilities of the team and, Managing the partner ecosystem to deliver the one airtel service agenda par excellence. Driving operational excellence in the circle, preparing the operating plan and monitoring the overall productivity measures, adherence to processes, ensuring capex and opex efficiencies at the circle level, ensuring Optimization of Cost to Serve.

The role assumes Planning, monitoring & program level executive sponsorship responsibility and is empowered to establish and implement standards and practices to deliver best in class customer experience

Deliverables Daily reviews With Team leaders in delivering the CAF to Activation as per the company targets Interacting with Business teams daily to get their requirements in improving Tag utilization and Churn reduction Improving of shifting efficiency by reviewing the team leaders on daily basis. Reduction of Gross fault Rate, Repeat, by taking up the proactive steps by clearing the faulty Tag rectification & NE rehabe. Improving the CSMM scores Create growth opportunities for performing team members. Continuously work in co-ordination with Human Resources for strengthening his division by talent acquisition in accordance with the need of the business. Ensure that customers are valued and their requirements met or exceeded consistently with business priorities. Weekly reviews and evaluating on performance of vendors Weekly Audits on material consumption – CAPEX and OPEX Ensure all TRAI Regulatory compliances are maintained. Regular Audits and reviewing with the team leaders on NCs observed on GIS accuracy, NE maintenance, etc.

Educational Level Must have: BE / B Tech – ECE - > 6 yrs Or Diploma – ECE with > 8yrs Self-Motivated and positive attitude person. Proactive and result oriented. Team Player. Excellent analytical skills Vendor Management Resource Optimization Good management and leadership skills. Lead & Manage Change, Process Orientation & strong Customer Focus Excellent Negotiation, Customer Interfacing skills. Effective communication/interpersonal skills
