Job description

social media lead is responsible for creating, leading, and implementing a social strategy for our Randstad’s new global technology organization. They will be an expert in social and adept at identifying target audiences, as well as setting clear objectives and relevancy of content relevant content by the audience and across our owned platforms. They will manage strategies (i.e., Parent-Child) for local social media efforts at scale and collaborate with the business/co-develop local plans. They will partner closely across teams to ensure marketing campaigns are amplified with paid media as appropriate.

This role adapts purposeful content to each social media platform and target audience. They will also have social listening and effective response skills, be able to create an effective social media push/pull strategy, and utilize equality, diversity, and inclusion as a guidepost in all social media efforts. Must work well cross-functionally and have strong collaboration skills. This position requires detailed knowledge of all key social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. Knowledge of Hootsuite, Post Beyond, and Reputation.com is a plus.

Roles and responsibilities

 Plan, design, implement and monitor social media campaigns  Develop relevant content by target audience and platform  Create, curate and manage all published content (text, audio, visual and multimedia formats)  Create comprehensive social media plans to boost thought leadership, brand image, increase talent/client engagement and improve conversions  Design, implement and manage social ad campaigns integrated into the company’s strategic marketing plans  Contribute to planning and management of the quarterly and annual content calendars  Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective  Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales  Manage strategies (i.e.., Parent-Child) for local social media efforts at scale, especially with Facebook and TikTok  Develop and maintain a social media response framework and policy, working closely with PR, Legal and HR teams.  Partner with sales teams to utilize social as an extension of their efforts  Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions  Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts  Develop social media KPIs, analyze key metrics, and compile reports showing results  Analyze campaign performance and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations for revising social media campaigns to maximize performance  Conduct social media audits for national and local posts  Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy

 Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company; report notable threats to appropriate management  Monitor effective benchmarks/best practices for measuring the impact of social media campaigns; analyze, review and report  Supervise TOUs and coordinate their activities to achieve social media campaign objectives  Develop and deliver presentations and other written and oral communication to inform, educate and propel the adoption of and investment in social media strategies  Continually seek to innovate and introduce breakthrough ideas, approaches, and solutions with social knowledge, skills, and abilities

 12+ years experience in content design/strategy for b2b companies in technology, IT consulting services or fintech. Good experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, Paid Search and Content Strategy.  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.  Previous social media strategy leadership experience is required. Deep knowledge of social media platforms and the latest marketing strategies, tactics and emerging applications/ technologies in social, mobile and digital marketing.  Experience in developing high-quality narratives around complex, data-driven topics through clear and compelling presentations, written overviews, and other formats.  Proven experience creating compelling and exciting messages about complex topics for B2B technology audiences.  Conceive, research, and write engaging content for social.  Strategic/creative thinker, detail-oriented, and highly organized.  Familiarity with the basics of digital publishing: managing story development through social channels, and measuring results.  Understanding of conversion optimization, social best practices, growth marketing, and principles of experimentation across all social channels.  Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.  Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically to deliver business results.  Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.  An analytical mindset with a focus on measuring communications effectiveness, in driving meaningful actions from data, and generating results.  Proficient with Google Suite tools including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.  Experience thriving in a fast-paced matrixed global environment.  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments, stringent deadlines, and changing priorities.  Experience in change management and culture change initiatives.
