Position Name : Stores Executive

Department: Vehicle Maintenance / Workshop

Job Brief:

Position Overview: A Stores Executive is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory and materials within a companys storage facilities. The role involves maintaining accurate records of stock monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that materials are available when needed. The store executive plays a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations reducing costs and ensuring the timely availability of goods.

About the firm:

NVS Travel Solutions is a 17yearold firm that provides mobility services across India. In 2023 NVS has scaled to an owned fleet size of 450 vehicles and also has its own inhouse team for workshop and maintenancerelated activities.

Job Role:

Receipt and Dispatch:

Receive incoming shipments verify contents and update records accordingly.

Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers for timely and accurate deliveries.

Prepare and organize goods for dispatch ensuring proper documentation.

Storage and Organization:

Organise and maintain an efficient layout within the warehouse for easy access to goods.

Implement proper storage techniques to prevent damage and deterioration of products.

Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations for stored items.

Order Fulfilment:

Work closely with other departments to fulfill internal and external orders promptly.

Monitor order requests and ensure that the correct items are picked and dispatched.

Collaborate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid stockouts.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and stored goods.

Identify and report any discrepancies damages or quality issues.

Collaborate with the quality control team to address and rectify issues.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to stock movements.

Generate reports on inventory levels stock movements and any relevant KPIs.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to inventory documentation.

Communication and Coordination:

Collaborate with various departments

Communicate effectively with suppliers logistics partners and internal stakeholders.

Address queries and concerns related to inventory and stock availability.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Implement best practices for warehouse management.

Stay updated on industry trends and technology to enhance efficiency.

PreRequisites:(Interview Criterion)

2 years Experience working in stores & Workshop management in LCV MCV or HMV s.

Must have experience in working with inventory management Saas and hold over Excel/spreadsheets etc..

Deep understanding of the life cycles of workshop management and bookkeeping activities.

A skilled negotiator and risk manager with experience in overcoming multiple kinds of unexpected challenges in store management and a proven ability to predict and create processes to avoid or identify risks.

A willingness to work both onsite and from the office to deliver superlative team success.

An extreme ownership attitude with an ability to inspire his/her team and lead by example.
