Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Incharge or similar role, preferably in the home textiles industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including goods arrangement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and protocols for handling goods and operating warehouse equipment.
- Proficient in data entry and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to train and supervise a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor, as required in a warehouse environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient goods arrangement and inventory maintenance.
- Coordinate with the production team to receive goods and maintain accurate inward and outward entry records.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods, following safety protocols and standards.
- Oversee packing and unboxing of goods, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Manage the movement of goods within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization and minimizing damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, implementing safety measures as per company guidelines.
- Perform data entry and maintain records of inventory, including stock levels, damaged goods, and returns.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders and resolve any inventory-related issues.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
