Job description
JOB POST: JUNIOR PRODUCTION MERCHANDISER
Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning: Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
2. Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials and components for production.
3. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to monitor and maintain product quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
4. Order Tracking: Keep track of production orders, monitor progress, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
5. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any production-related issues or delays to minimize disruptions.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, including order details, inventory levels, and quality reports.
7. Collaboration: Work in tandem with cross-functional teams, including design, logistics, and quality control, to facilitate smooth production processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high production standards.
-Basic understanding of production processes and supply chain dynamics.
Experience:
Previous experience in a production-related role or relevant internships would be advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
