Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Studio Manager at Sutra.... The Studio Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as overseeing project timelines, handling client communications, managing the studio staff, and ensuring quality delivery of projects. The Studio Manager will work closely with the creative and production teams and will report to the Head of Operations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service expertise for client interactions
- Strong team leadership and sales capabilities
- Project management experience, handling multiple projects concurrently
- Preferably experienced in a creative agency
- Proficient in project management tools
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Able to manage the entire design process from conception to final approval
- Expertise in creating corporate designs across various formats
- Proficient in visual concept creation, image retouching, and ensuring print/web standards
- Knowledgeable in document formatting and print preparation
- Consistent adherence to brand guidelines
- Familiarity with variable print files and digital print processes
- Efficient organization and management of artwork files
- Maintenance of an in-house image library
- Thorough proof checking and adaptation of artwork to different layouts/formats
- Creation of web assets and checking printers' proofs
- Technically precise input and support for design projects
- Liaison with external printers and point of contact for the artwork department
- Stay updated on the latest design trends
In a senior artworker role:
- Manage and mentor a team of junior artworkers
- Schedule and oversee all artwork for the team
- Approve artwork to ensure compliance with client and brand guidelines
- Provide artistic direction, strategic planning, and creative marketing services
- Represent the design agency/company at industry events.
