Job description
The overall responsibility comprises of 3 key areas:
Building Eminence: . Conceptualize and develop thought leading content for presentations and publications . Represent the practice in domestic and international public forums . Lead and foster innovation, entrepreneurship spirit and thought leadership within the team Owning the P&L: . Drive business development efforts for the practice through stakeholder outreach and interactions, business ideation and pitch preparation . Groom and support the team towards achieving and raising target year on year Developing the team, building talent: . Plan the sector's growth and map the competencies required to meet these goals . Identify and fill key roles for the practice . Design and drive the mechanism for effective performance management and reward system for the practice . Monitor the KPIs of key personnel and the practice . Work with HR on programs for people development and coaching of future leaders . Provide mentorship to teams on project approach, managing client expectations and quality controlSKILLS:
. Strong business acumen and understanding of business issues at the nexus of multiple impact sectors. . Project Management skills to ensure delivery excellence and delighting customers - always. . Strong client and relationship-building skills including the ability to engage CXO clients and be recognized as a thought leader on emerging issues across sectors / practice areas . Lead project scope discussions and provide insightful recommendations . Display entrepreneurship approach in tackling sector / practice specific challenges . Demonstrate ability to lead people - build and motivate a team for greater performance . Excellent writing (experience in publishing whitepapers, blogs etc.,). and oral communication skills are a must.- Opportunity to come in early at a leadership position
