The role as an Organizational Change Management Consultant
You will have awareness of and curiosity about how organizations are responding to the digital agenda and what this means for people, their roles, and their job transformation.
As an Organizational Change Team, we are involved in any client project. Next to project delivery we expect you to make valuable contributions to our portfolio development, demonstrate thought leadership, support sales processes and keep your knowledge up to date with training. Not only do we guide the organization in the adoption and usage of new technologies and new ways of working, but we also look at the required organizational design and cultural change during this digital transformation. Important activities are:
- Strategic planning for change . Involves developing a case for change, agreeing the future state, and evaluating our client s readiness for change. For example: building a change strategy together with a team for the airline industry and using rich media to communicate the vision and journey.
- Mobilizing and driving adoption of new technologies. Includes establishing a change network, engaging senior sponsors in advocacy for the change, handling partner resistance and delivering communications and engagement strategies and plans. Think about crafting a company-wide campaign for a blue-chip energy sector client that enables its people to adopt emerging business technologies.
- Delivering change. Identifying, addressing, and rectifying issues related to user adoption of technology of the new way of working. Invent you are designing and delivering an end user training and learning program for a private or public sector department to ensure the ability and knowledge to adopt the new technology.
- Organizational Design . You could support with the alignment of organizational structures, develop roles and responsibilities and workforce planning for large organizations.
Who are you
Do you have:
- Between 6-12 years of experience delivering people-related change support in a digital and business transformation context.
- Willingness to actively participate in sharing knowledge and strengthening the Change Management competence.
- Master s or bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area.
- Experience in the Consulting sector, specifically in supporting or managing change roles.
- Proven Change Management Skills (ADKAR, Lewin and Kotter are familiar to you, including the application of change management tools such as stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, and setting up a network).
- Demonstrable Business Consultancy Skills (Project Management, Familiar with working in Agile environments such as DevOps, SAFe, scrum, etc.).
- Preferably experience with business development (such as writing proposals, developing portfolio items, and facilitating workshops.)
- It is a big plus when you have experience in Data Analytics, AI, Design Thinking, and Digital Strategy.
- The ability and willingness to rapidly develop skills while operating in a fast-paced environment.
- A good set of soft skills to manoeuvre through larger (inter)national organizations;
- Excellent social skills and the ability to work with all organizational levels independent of cultures.
- Natural organization sensitivity skills and understanding of organizational politics.
- The willingness to go the extra mile and surprise the client with innovative and creative solutions.
- The option to be internationally mobile and willing to work for various clients.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing (fluent) in Dutch and English.
