Identification, exploration and implementation of technology / product development and growth strategies to enhance and secure global positioning. Ensure project execution, foster innovation and develop and secure R&D capabilities in the business for profitability.
Devising research methods, focus on future technical direction, future scenarios in transforming technology landscape. Preparing technical specifications and specifying laboratory test equipment and processes. Making recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials within budgets and targets set. May participate in intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications. Coordinating pilot-plant or initial production runs on new products or processes. An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
For our Technology Center in Vadodara/India, we are looking for a Power System Engineer - with expertise in the field of Power System engineering. You will join a dynamic, motivated and creative team with a broad rand of experience and competences. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for understanding power system application issues and providing solutions.
Your Responsibilities
Need to work and make meaningful analysis of large data sets.
Responsible for performing technical analysis of electrical power system utilizing software tools for power system studies including power flow, short circuit, protection, stability, switching, renewable integration etc.
Responsible to conduct failure analysis & provide solution to mitigate failures in the field of power system engineering (along with system studies.) resolved complex power system engineering and application problems.
Perform power system modelling using various power system tool in accordance with relevant IEEE, ANSI, IEC standards. Compiling results of analysis to produce detailed and/or concise, analytical report.
Lead and facilitate technical discussions with customers to provide application support and solutions with products available.
Provide expert opinion or information related to projects or other issues to customers, utilities, etc.
