Job description
Responsibilities: · Ability to Develop and manage BIM capabilities of the design team implementing continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the organisation on all projects. Assist design team members in learning processes and growing professionally. Should have prior experience in BIM 360 · Well versed in Setting up, implement and maintain Project Standards according to BIM Protocol. BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up. · Modelling building components , structural and MEP co-ordination, managing various links in the project ( Preferred) . Managing working sharing process, Resource planning. To be a main point of contact and escalation for all BIM issues. · Create and maintain a BIM Coordination Programme that is aligned with the Project Programme. Establish BIM Coordination workshops and report progress at the Project Design Team meetings. · Identify and document clashes between different discipline models using clash detection software. Establish quality control procedures to check that all of the models are accurate, the level of detail is fit for purpose. ·
Technical management of project BIM data sets , record and monitor shared data. Prepare project specific training documentation and project BIM execution plans. · Liaise with Design Systems team to ensure changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams and followed as per organisations operation standards and procedures. · Manage and maintain project content and source additional content for project teams. Ensure that the design team provides internal and external stakeholders with the most accurate project BIM data throughout the design process. · Knowledge on Dynamo , Rhino will be preferred • Set strategies to identify BIM process issues that affect project execution, and resolve problems that are systemic across projects. Develop and steward standards regarding accuracy and consistency of project BIM data stored within all systems. • Ensure that the project closeouts consistently result in as-built project information that is accurate and packaged for use by downstream users (e.g. Building Ops, Community Managers, etc.). • Lead and empower team members to proactively flag and solve project issues. To mentor team members by providing guidance, feedback, QA/QC, and direction on design methodologies. Provide one-to-one mentoring on 'Best Practice' workflows to project teams as required. Deliver project team mentoring in BIM Software enabling Applications. · Vendor management and to work with all disciplines vendors on content download and update to Company Standards. · Ability to develop a BIM team under his/her leadership in the future to grow a new vertical as profit generating unit.Job tags
