Purpose :
· Assures the quality of HMI Design and Engineering software products from system dynamics COE on a variety of computer systems. Develops quality assurance tests, procedures, tools, benchmarks, and documentation for new and enhanced products. Must ensure that all product meets a high standard of quality per the Quality Assurance Department.
Education :
· B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Mechanical, Automotive, Multi Body Dynamics (MBD)
· Advanced degree and academic training in Multi Body Dynamics will be an added advantage.
Technical Experience :
· Must be an end user of Motion / System Dynamics tools.
· Advance domain knowledge transmission and drive train systems (Automotive)
· Hands-on experience & excellent working knowledge of Romax Software (Concept, Evolve, Enduro, Spin, Spectrum and Energy)
· Knowledge of equivalent MBD products
· Experience in performing various types of dynamics and motion analyses using commercially available MBD Software
· Experience in solving real-world problems in transmission.
· Added advantage having the knowledge of other CAE tools such as Adams, Easy5, Elements
· Moderate Knowledge of common FEA pre, post and solvers
· Scripting knowledge in python is a plus.
Soft Skills :
· Good interpersonal and communication and presentation skills required.
· Exposure to Agile & Software Quality Assurance processes
· Ability to provide technical leadership and represent QA team
Duties and Responsibilities :
· Assures the quality of new feature development projects, and timely feedback sharing with other product stakeholders.
· Develops quality assurance tests, procedures, benchmarks.
· Performs specific and end-to-end tests.
· Must ensure that projects & product meet a high standard of quality per the Quality Assurance department.
· Builds industry standard real-world models.
· Test automation and testing skills are expected.
· Expected to understand complex customer issues within the domain.
· Take initiative and drive continuous process improvement from the lesson learnt from customer reported defects.
· Present test strategy to other product stakeholders
· Expected to understand cost aspects involved during QA process improvement.
