Job description
We are looking for Fired Equipment Engineer.
Location – Vadodara Job Responsibilities Mechanical Engineer with 10-17 years of experience of Design and detail engineering of Fired equipment like Furnace /Incinerators / Thermal Oxidizers /Flare system /Burners etc. in compliance with international codes and standards, project specifications, & general specifications prevalent in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Chemicals & other associated industries. Strong working knowledge of design codes including API-560, API-537, ASME Sec. VIII- Div.1, TEMA etc. Experience in Pressure vessel, Heat exchanger, Columns, Storage tanks, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, would be beneficial. Requirements • Leading execution of Process Gas projects for the above-mentioned technologies. • Reviewing customer technical requirements and specifications and incorporating into project designs. • Preparing technical specifications and conduct bid tab reviews. • Troubleshooting of refractory insulating systems and other plant problems. • Providing operating plant support • Investigate causes of equipment failure. Develop repair methods and design changes to improve equipment reliability. • Travel to supplier and operating plant sites both domestically and internationally is required. The amount of travel is normally 15-30%. • Mentor and train junior mechanical engineers. Minimum proficiencies and qualifications: • B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical is required. • 10-17 years of professional experience performing detailed engineering of Fired equipment like Furnace /Incinerators / Thermal Oxidizers /Flare system /Burners etc. • Strong working knowledge of design codes including API-560, API-537, ASME Section VIII, Div. 1, TEMA and other API standards. Experience with European codes and the Chinese GB code would be beneficial. • Experience in welding engineering, material selection, and quality control is required. • Experience with the fabrication of high temperature equipment and piping is desired. • Effective communication skills and the ability to lead global team members to closure on technical issues. • EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) experience is preferred.Job tags
