About DD&IT Development
You will be part of DD&IT Development GBS and will be located in Bangalore, India. We are a team of 70 people responsible for the operations, maintenance, support and development of more than 70 global IT systems in Novo Nordisk. Our system portfolio comprises GxP, Finance and Business critical IT system that are used on a global scale throughout the Development lifecycle from clinical trials to product registration and preparation for market launch.
You will lead a team of 10-15 and together you will be responsible for the systems used in Global Safety.
In addition, you will manage few smaller systems in Development value chain for the portfolios, e.g. Global Medical affairs (GMA), Digitalisation & Process Improvements and PharmaCM system.
The Position
As our new People Leader, you will contribute to the great working culture and engaging people development at Novo Nordisk. Your team will consist of System Managers, Scrum Masters and Business Analysist. You will partner closely with other People Leaders to ensure that we establish and drive a strong collaboration. To succeed in the role, you must therefore have strong leadership competencies and an international mindset as you will be working across geographies and cultures. Your primary responsibility will be to:
Manage the day-to-day operations and support of the systems for Global Safety, incl. compliance, IT Quality requirements, IT security requirements including periodic assessment of IT risks, threats, and vulnerabilities as per ITQ (IT Quality) policies.
Engage regularly with business stakeholders and provide adequate support and partner by providing key IT inputs with respect to scalability and other perspectives.
Become part of the DD&IT Development GBS leadership team where you will be part of resolving or escalating impediments and drive continuous improvements.
Act as the point of contact for the RTE and Scrum Masters in the NextGen Safety to maintain capacity without any impact on deliverables, including competency mapping, development and timely hiring to ensure we cater to business needs.
People development and motivation including coaching & mentoring
Reward and performance management and facilitate cross-organisational knowledge-sharing.
FTE and system budgeting, incl. general department budgets and follow-up.
Qualifications
Academic degree in a relevant field, e.g Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Business).
+10 years of relevant domain knowledge within e.g., IT technology, delivery and project management, IT operations.
+3 years of people management and leadership experience.
+3 years within the Safety and Pharmacovigilance space will be considered a great advantage.
High cultural sensitivity and comfortable working with different countries and cultures across multiple time-zones. Must be able to work in different geographical time zone.
Experience in navigating in large organizations.
Personal drive, personal impact, and integrity.
Self-managed and strong personal leadership with ability to analyse and solve complex issues in a timely and structured manner.
Excellent in communication skills written and spoken English.
