Job Summary:
We are seeking and enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our architecture firm as an Mid-Entry Level Human Resources Specialist (2-3 Years experience). Responsibilities:
Recruitment and On boarding:
- Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new employee on boarding, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Help address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts, working towards resolution and maintaining a harmonious work environment.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases.
- Prepare HR-related documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and termination letters.
- Assist in managing employee benefits, leave requests, and time-off tracking.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance review process, including gathering feedback, updating performance records, and assisting with performance improvement plans.
Compliance and Policies:
- Stay up to date with employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and employee handbook.
Training and Development:
- Assist in organizing training programs and workshops for employees.
- Coordinate employee development initiatives, including tracking training progress and maintaining training records.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee engagement activities, and wellness programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in HR or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
