Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Jr. Design Engineer role located in Bengaluru with Navkar Metals. The Jr. Design Engineer will work on designing, developing, and testing new products as well as improving existing design products. The Jr. Design Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions and will work closely with designers, engineers, and customers to oversee the design process from conception to final product.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software, such as AutoCAD,
• Experience in designing and modeling products, sheet metals, and castings
• Demonstrable knowledge of production processes, including metalworking, casting, and fabrication
• Strong analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant experience may be substituted for education
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
