We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Owner to join our team
You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in synergy with the other teams in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts
Main responsibility
Analyze the long-term needs of the companys social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to senior management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organisation and brand
set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
manage, motivate and coach junior staff such as social media executives or assistants
Define and manage a budget for social media activities
Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
Manage and oversee social media content
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
Skills & Qualifications
Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
a solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
excellent team working, collaboration and networking skills
online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers
Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
