Job description
Roles and Responsibilities We are looking for experienced Linux user and Kernel space programmer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and hands on experience with Yocto.
Required 6+ years of C/C++ development for embedded systems. Expert knowledge of Linux systems and kernel internals. Proven knowledge and experience in embedded Linux system development: drivers, networking, user space / kernel space communication, IPC, firewall, containerization. Experience in porting software components and drivers across variety of different architectures ( i.e. MIPS, ARM, IA32 ) Expert knowledge of Open Embedded/ Yocto. Expert knowledge of RDK software stack concepts its extension and porting API, (IPC communication, modules interdependency, containers, device porting layer). Hands on embedded Linux system hardening principles. Very good knowledge of the Linux filesystems on variety of storage media (e.g., NAND/NOR flash, HDD) HW knowledge background and knowledge how to use oscilloscope and similar generic signal meters. Ability to read and understand electronic circuits schematics to implement or resolve HW depended on issues. Experience in area of DVB technologies family standards is a plus. • Expert knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, IPv4 and IPv6, DHCP, PPP, DNS, 802.11, IGMP, UPnP, DLNA, nginx and similar) Expert knowledge of WiFi technology, deep understanding of all transmission control protocols underling below standard network protocols, expert knowledge of various WiFi standards and protocols, (e.g., major differences (WiFi 6, WiFi 5, ability to capture and analyse WiFi traffic on control protocols level). Hands on experience with Wifi Alliance certification tools and test suite. Knowledge of main networking functionalities (QoS, NAT, Port Forwarding, Security & Firewall, reverse proxy) Storage and various filesystems used in embedded systems (HDD, SSD, NAND NOR, and similar) Preferred Agile development experience WORK EXPERIENCE (in years) - 6+ years of relevant experience LOCATION - Trivandrum, BangaloreJob tags
